Custom Gift Cards
Written by Lisa on June 16, 2008 – 10:34 am -Since my contests on here have been such a big hit, what better thing to do than send out custom Gift Cards as a prize? I could easily add a picture like this:

(Yes, that is Madison in all her kitchen garb!)
Who can make this all possible? Visa’s Gift Card Lab! I know I hate giving gift cards as gifts, because they have no personality to them. However, when you are able to personalize them, you give them life and memories to them. You may see a personalized gift card giveaway in the near future!

Interesting post. I work for a company that manages and tracks gift cards. I’ve been following credit card gift cards on savvywallet.com. Just want to provide more information. I just checked on their website, and these are the most important points:
1. 5.95 to activate the card
2. Shipping fee, $20 to expedite it.
3. Monthly Maintenance Fee: 4.95 (per month beginning on the 7th month from the day of purchase)
4. Replacement Card Fee: 15.00 (per Card; when Card is reissued or replaced for any reason)
5. Customer Service Fee: $1.00 per call to a live customer service agent
6. Card Account Liquidation Fee: $15.00 (charged if a check is issued for fund)
Tip:
Always keep track of your balance, or else, you may find it difficult to use on your second purchase ( you need to tell the cashier, how much to put on the card, they are unable to check the balance for you) Balance can be checked with this number: 1-888-799-0028
