Written by Lisa on September 6, 2008 – 12:03 am -Not sure if your baking soda is still fresh? Combine 1/4 tsp with 2 tsps of vinegar. If the mixture bubbles, the soda is still active.

Well I had no idea one could do this and the question of whether my baking soda in the fridge is still good or not has always plagued me. Thanks for the tip!
