I agree my husband is constantly complaining about having the same thing…its a constant challenge to meke the same foods different

  4. Well .. here’s my favourite recipe .. easy to prepare and very tasty.

Boil some water and chuck in some penne

While they are cooking, cut up some salmon trimmings into small pieces. Brown some onions, then throw in the salmon. Throw some vodka into the pan to give it some flavour and after the vodka has boiled off, pour in some cream. Cook for a couple of mins till the pasta is done.

Drain the pasta, mix in the salmon sauce and serve with a generous potion of caviar on top

    Mmmmm

  5. Spaghetti Carbonara

    1 lb. cooked spaghetti
Pancetta or thick bacon cut into pieces (you can pre cook it or leave it raw)
    2 eggs
Loads of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    freshly ground pepper
    chopped 4 whole garlic cloves
    chopped Italian parsley
    heavy cream

    1. In a pan over medium heat add your cooked spaghetti and ALL the ingredients to taste. You want to stir it and move it around a lot, so the eggs cook, but not too much to scramble them, and the cream creates a nice sauce.

    My favorite, simple-to-make recipe:

    Easy Cottage Pie

    1 lbs ground beef
    Instant mashed potatoes
    Shredded cheddar cheese
    Frozen peas & carrots
Onion salt, black pepper, rosemary, steak seasoning

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a casserole pan.
-Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain the excess fat and return to medium heat.
-Add 1 cup water and use the onion salt, pepper, rosemary, etc to season to taste. Alternately you can use Dale’s to season.
-Stir in frozen vegetables and cook until most of the water is evaporated.
-Follow the directions to make the instant mashed potatoes.
-Pour meat into casserole dish. Cover with a layer of the mashed potatoes and some grated/shredded cheddar cheese.
-Bake 20-30 minutes until top starts to brown
