Meat Sauce for Spaghetti

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage
1 medium onion chopped
2 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 cup finely chopped carrots
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Cook beef and sausage until browned and drain.

In a slow cooker, mix beef mixture and all the other ingredients.

Cover and cook on low for 8 – 10 hours.

Serve sauce over cooked spaghetti . Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
