I will admit it.  I love chicken.  That is why I was excited to check out 125 Best Chicken Recipes.  I like to change up how I make chicken, and this cookbook allowed me to do that!

Whether using a skillet, frying pan, oven or grill, most of these recipes can be prepared in 20 to 30 minutes. With just a few ingredients, chicken happily takes up flavors from all parts of the globe, whether it’s Coq au Vin from Europe or the savory curry flavors of Easy Tandoori from India.  Here  are a few of the recipes you can find:

Ingredients
  • 1 onion
  • 1½ pound boneless/skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • taco seasoning packet (or make your own)
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients in your slow cooker.
  2. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours.
  3. About 1 hour before serving, shred the chicken.
  4. Serve on warm tortilla shells.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce
  • ½ cup Italian salad dressing
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
  1. Place chicken in a slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, Italian salad dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cover, and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.
  4. About 1 hour before serving, shred chicken.
