Another onion trick — cut off the top and root ends, then hold the onion under warm running water as you pull off the papery skin.

Need to get that onion smell off your hands?  Wash your hands with ketchup, and it will remove the smell.

Tip Of The Day

It is very important not to let cooked poultry sit at room temperature for more than 2 hours.  Having paid for a food poisoning bill that left my husband hospitalized a week, I can tell you food poisoning is not fun.
