Four Foods On Friday

Ok, so I have really slacked on the Four Foods On Friday meme.  However, I am back for this week.  Here are my answers, but feel free to play along also.

#1. Are your Kitchen utensils nylon, silicone, wood or other?

Honestly, I have some of all of them.

#2. Do you prefer dishes washed in a dishwasher or by hand?

Dishwasher.  I cannot stand washing dishes by hand.

#3. How many sets of dishes do you have?

2.  I have an extra set in the attic for when we have parties with everybody.
#4. Share a recipe that calls for only one pot or pan.

Ravioli Bake

1 jar (16 oz) spaghetti sauce
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (10 oz) beef broth
1/4 cup Zesty Italian Dressing
24 oz of frozen ravioli (you can use fresh also)
1 cup Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese

Preheat over to 375 degrees. Combine spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, broth, and dressing in a 13×9 baking dish. Add ravioli and toss to coat. Cover with foil.

Bake 50 minutes or until ravioli is tender.

Remove foil and stir. Sprinkle with cheese and let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Statue Of Liberty in 1200 lbs of Cheese

I came across this You Tube video that I had to share. I’m not sure what this whole thing has to do with Showtime or Tracy Ullman, but it definitely really awesome. I wouldn’t mind having some skills like these.

Preserve Cutting Boards

cutting-boardI recently got a Preserve Cutting Board, and I love it. Anybody who has been to my house can tell you that even though I have a huge kitchen, my counter space sucks. My new cutting board got quite the workout at Madison’s party last weekend. I had two million (ok maybe not quite that many) people in my kitchen, and we were trying to get everything ready. My brother in law was making avocado dip.  He was using the cutting board on the counter, and then with the handy curved handle, he was able to transfer everything to the bowl on the table.  I love that this is made from 100% recycled plastic, and it is recyclable in communities with #5 recycling.  It is also dishwasher safe (which is a must in my house). It is also BPA-free and made in the US.  Best of all, you can find this at Target!

If you need a new cutting board, you definitely need to check out Preserve Cutting Boards.  I have been nothing but happy with mine.
