Orange Food Kozy® Wrap

U-Konserve & Kids Konserve is the result of two moms who were struggling to be environmentally conscious while facing the never-ending challenge of managing the everyday accumulation of household trash. Each day as their made their kids lunches, they knew that the plastic baggies, drink cartons, and single use containers were heading for the landfill. Did you know that one school age child generates an average of 67 pounds of lunchtime trash per school year?

They wanted a waste free solution. They consulted experts and tested samples. They soured high quality, non toxic material designed to be durable and long lasting.

I recently got the opportunity to review the Orange Food Kozy® Wrap. You can wrap sandwiches, bagels & cream cheese, meat & cheese slices, apple slices or whatever you want to wrap up and take along. Their reusable sandwich wrap is similar to a snack bag, but lies flat to double as an on-the-go placemat, making them great for school lunches. My kids eat on their desks at school, so who knows what germs lie in wait there! This is a great solution for that!

BPA-free and PVC-free, their wraps make perfect refrigerator storage for snacks and leftovers like cut meats, cut vegetables and blocks of cheese. They’re also the ideal waste-free alternative for takeout, picnics and travel.

Unlike a cloth snack bag, this non-toxic surface is easy to clean, dries quickly, keeps food from seeping through, and the slick surface is perfect for messy foods.

As you can see, we have been using ours for snacks and it works great! It does exactly what it is suppose to do. It is super easy to fold up (easy enough for my 5 year old) and easily wipes clean too! If you are looking to “green” your child’s lunch, I highly recommend these!
