Dish Squeegee

When you are loading your dishwasher, how do you get the food off your plates first? If you are like me, you run water over it without even realizing how much water your wasting! There has to be a ready way, and there is.

The Dish Squeegee makes doing dishes simple, faster, and more eco friendly. Experts estimate pre-rinsing dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher can waste up to 6500 gallons of water a year! I know that number makes me sick! Not rinsing pots, bowls, and plates prior to putting them in the dishwasher can also waste water when dishes emerge unclean. Instead of rinsing everything with water, use the Dish Squeegee instead!

The Dish Squeegee’s three sided shape make it well suited for all size pots, pans, dishes, cups, and jars. The Dish Squeegee is made of soft and pliable silicone that won’t scratch fine cookware or Teflon surfaces and may also be used to efficiently clear off cutting boards and counter tops. The Dish Squeegee is dishwasher safe and won’t absorb germs or bacteria.

We’ve used it here, and it works great! I’ll be honest, I never realized the amount of water we were wasting! It is making small little chances like using the Dish Squeegee that will make this world a better place for our kids!

Brillo Estracell Giveaway!

This giveaway is now over. The winner is ellen. Congrats!

I am always on the lookout for great products to try in my kitchen. Brillo‘s new Estracell sponges is one of those items. It is a more sanitary and reusable sponge. Independent test results demonstrate that bacteria will not feed and survive on the sponge fibers of the Estracell material naturally (no weird chemicals in it). Since Estracell rinses cleaner, it also helps eliminate the single greatest consumer complaint about sponges, the smell. (For me, that is the worst thing about sponges. I can smell a bad sponge a mile away). Best of all? They are more absorbent than paper towels!  I love that they have a “wedge edge”, so you can get into those weird hard to reach places.  They have several different types of sponges, so you can pick which one is right for the job you need done!

Since my kitchen is a fan of the Brillo Estracell sponges, I’ve arranged for 5 lucky readers to get their own prize pack. Each prize pack includes a Brillo pink four pack, Estracell Wedge Edge two pack and Estracell Sponge Wipe two pack. Here’s what you need to do:

Ionic Fridge Air Purifier Giveaway

I never realized that my refrigerator was stinky until it wasn’t. True story.  🙂

I recently was given the opportunity to try out the Ionic Fridge Air Purifier.  The first thing that I noticed from using it was the my fridge smelled fresh.  I can say that this definitely eliminates food odors.  It also kills bacteria, reduces food spoilage, and prevents mildew.  It also sterilizes your fridge once every hour.  Best of all, there are no replacement filters and nothing to clean.  The air purifier uses 2 AA batteries that require replacement approximately every 90 days.  It is also completely silent.

Since my family loves our so much, I have arranged for one lucky reader to get one of their own!  Here’s what you need to do:
