To chop crunchy candy bars, use a rolling pin to lightly pound the bars into pieces insie a resealable plastic bag.  For sticky centered bars, lightly coat the knife blade with nonstick cooking spray to prevent the candy from sticking to the blade.

Use plastic sandwich bags to pipe icing decorations onto cookies.  Spoon the icing into a plastic sandwich bag.  Snip a tiny piece off one of the bottom corners of the bag.  Squeeze gently to pipe simple designs on top of the cookies.
