You can seriously make pound cake now in about 10 minutes, and that’s including preheating! It took me longer to find the ingredients in my pantry than it did to make a pound cake!

Seriously! Literally, you mix the ingredients together, add to the Holstein Housewares Pound Cake Maker, wait about 8-10 minutes and done! I frosted and decorated after it cooled off. I’m including the pound cake recipe I used, because I never knew I could make chocolate pound cake! Also, let me just say, yum.

Baking powder is perishable.  Be sure to check the expiration date on the bottom of your can before using.  To see if the baking powder is still active, mix 1 tsp baking powder with 1/3 cup hot water.  If the mixture bubbles, the baking powder is good.
