Biscuit dough can be prepared in a food processor.  However, you need pulse each addition of the ingredients until just blended.  If you overprocess, this will will toughen the biscuits.

Rerolling can make biscuit dough tough.  You should try and cut as many biscuits as possible from the first rolling.
