BoxTops Giveaway!

This school year, giving back to your school can be as easy as looking for the Red Spoon on your favorite Betty Crocker dessert mixes!  Whether you’re collecting for new computers, library books, or a playground, through the Box Tops for Education program you can help make a difference. Last year, your contributions earned more than $59 million for America’s schools!  As the Box Top coordinator at my daughter’s school, I can tell you how important it is to do such a simple thing (that is, collecting Box Tops).  They are sooo many items with Box Tops.  You can find them on Kleenex boxes, ziploc bags, copy paper, Avery office supplies, and now on all Betty Crocker baking mixes  including the  new Fun da-middles.  This back-to-school season, you should also look for double Box Tops on specially marked packages of Betty Crocker baking mixes.

Since I know the importance of Box Tops and schools, I’ve arranged for one lucky reader to get a Box Tops Prize Pack.  In it, there is:

  • Cupcake iclips
  • Cupcake bag
  • Cupcake notepads
  • Box Tops for Education pencils
  • Neoprene Lunch Sack

Cereal Treats Bars #giveaway!

I am always on the lookout for a snack (and even dessert) for my kids. My kids love cereal, so when I came across the Golden Grahams and Lucky Charm Treat Bars I knew they’d be a hit in my house. Madison has actually packed them in her lunch all this week!  She loves these.  The flavor varieties include the ever popular Golden Grahams® (130 calories) and new Lucky Charms® Treats (100 calories).  These are my kids favorite cereals, so they were all over trying these.   TWO Box Tops for Education seals are on each box of Cereal Treat Bars, making earning cash for your school doubly cool! (As the Box Top Coordinator for my daughters school, I have to include cool stuff like that!).

These were such a hit in my house, so I want you too to be able try these.  I have arranged for one lucky winner to get a Cereal Treat Bar Prize Pack.  In it, you will find:

  • One box of Lucky Charms® Cereal Treats Bars
  • One box of Golden Grahams® Cereal Treats Bars
  • Lunch bag
  • Locker whiteboard
  • Colored pencil set
Since this is great for back to school, here’s what you need to do:

Safeway Back To School Giveaway

This giveaway is now over. The winner is Nicole Greene. Congrats!

The Safeway family of stores (which includes Dominick’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi’s) is making it simple to give back to your local schools with “2 Ways 2 Earn” cash for your schools with Box Tops for Education and the “10% Goes Back to Schools” program.  We collect Box Tops for Madison’s school, so I know how important these programs are for small schools like ours.  However, Box Tops is making it even easier this year with four new brands participating in the program: Progresso Soup, Totino’s Pizza, Betty Crocker Cake Mixes and Gold Medal Flour.  This year look for the “10% Goes Back to Schools” yellow school bus tags on over 2,000 of your favorite items throughout Safeway from August 11th – September 14th. When you purchase participating products with your Club Card, Safeway will give 10% of the purchase price to the local school of your choice!  How awesome is that?

Here’s how it works:

  • Check your receipt from August 11 – September 14. The total will be updated each time you shop.
  • Beginning on September 18, a redemption code will be printed at the bottom of your receipt.
  • Visit before October 13 to choose your favorite participating local school, then simply enter your redemption code to make your donation.

School funding all over the country is being cut, and this is a great way to help your local schools out.  Since I am all for education, here’s what I have arranged — one lucky reader will get a Box Top Prize Pack!  In it, you will find a $25 Safeway gift card (also valid at Dominick’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi’s) that you can use to purchase your favorite Box Tops items, in addition to a Bonus Box Tops certificate with a value of 50 Bonus Box Tops!  Here’s what you need to do:
