Tip Of The Day
Written by Lisa on July 25, 2008 – 12:23 am -Let quick breads cool completely before covering them in plastic wrap or foil. Wrapping a hot bread causes the steam to go back into the dough which makes the bread soggy and gummy.

Written by Lisa on July 20, 2008 – 12:59 am -Overbeating toughens quick breads. To avoid overbeating, mix dry ingredients together in one bowl, liquid ingredients in a second bowl, and then combine the two. Then stir enough to moisten the batter.
