Mrs. Fields Brookie Pan

I know — you are all asking, what is a brookie? Seriously, it is the best thing since sliced bread. Okay, maybe not that good, but pretty darn close.

I am always looking for something that makes my life easier but doesn’t make it look like I took a shortcut. This pan does just that. It will make you look awesome the next party you bring this too or the bake sale at your kids school. (Parents from my kids school, quit reading now. I want you to think I slaved over my hot oven all day long.) :)

This is the Mrs. Field’s Brookie Pan. This is where the magic happens. First, you fill the outside cavity with brown mix. I highly recommend using a spoon to do this. Next, you place a baked cookie on the center island. You can bake that yourself or cheat and buy a cookie that is 2.5″ – 3″ in diameter. You can use whatever kind of cookie you want too. I used chocolate chip. You then fill the remainder of the cavity with brownie mix until the cookie is covered. Stop adding mix when the cookie is covered though. Otherwise, your brookie will look like this:

You will lose your cookie in the brownie. However, my kids said they still tasted awesome. LOL

This is more of what you want:

Bake the brookie’s according the recipe. Start checking your brookies about 5 minutes before they are suppose to be done. Remove from the oven when the toothpick comes out clean:

You then remove from your oven and let cool. Serve upside down so everyone can see the cookie!

Fun and easy! I highly recommend the Mrs. Field’s Brookie Pan!

Warm Your Corn

Craving warm, movie theater popcorn, but in the comfort of your own home? Same over here. That is why Popcorn, Indiana pulled together the top (and hungriest) technicians to create Warm Your Corn, the FIRST ready-to-eat Movie Theater popcorn that comes in a microwave safe bag. Instructions? Grab a bag – place in a microwave – begin eating. Seriously, it is that easy!

Not a fan of Movie Theater? Rather not microwave your popcorn? No problem! Popcorn, Indiana offers the following options that will leave all taste buds watering for more;

  • Kettlecorn
  • Aged White Cheddar Kettlecorn
  • Cinnamon Sugar
  • Sea Salt
  • Bacon Ranch
  • Caramel Corn
  • Almont Biscotti
  • Roasted Peanut Caramel Corn
  • Wasabi
  • Cocoa Kettlecorn
  • Dark Fudge Chocolate Chip Kettlecorn
  • Drizzled Black & White Kettlecorn
  • Drizzled Cinnamon Sugar Kettlecorn
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Kettlecorn
  • Dark Fudge Peppermint Kettlecorn

Bill and I tried out the Movie Popcorn flavor.  After I tried it, Bill finished off the entire bag that night.  Yes, it is that good!  I expected a little more butter flavor.  However, butter is what makes movie theater popcorn unhealthy!  That being said, I loved it too.  I loved how we were able to warm it up too. Bill also wants to try some of their other flavors now too! I may have created a monster by sharing with him!

If you are looking for a movie night at home, I recommend Warm Your Corn!
