Simply…from Pillsbury

This giveaway is now over. The winner is Bunny. Congrats!

I am a fan of Pillsbury products which is why I was excited to try some products from their Simply line. This line of dough contains zero grams trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial colors or flavors. It is super easy to make (open the container and put into your oven) that my husband even managed to make the Rustic French Bread without any help from me! What surprised me more than that was that this bread tastes homemade.  I never would have guessed that this came from a can!  It is literally that good.  The bread just melted in our mouthes, and I can’t imagine getting any other kind of french bread now.  It is really that good!  The biscuits were just as good too.

Since we loved these products, I want you to try it out yourself.  I’ve arranged for one lucky ready to received a Pillsbury Prize Pack that will include a jar of honey, spreader, cutting board, and basket.  Here’s what you need to do:

Surf Sweets

My kids love fruit snacks. However, a lot of what you find on the market has stuff you just don’t want them to have! However, I found the answer.

Surf Sweets are made with organic fruit and sweeteners. They are free of artificial flavors and colors too. They are also made without corn syrup! Surf Sweets are both gluten-free and casein-free and are also made in a facility free of the ten most common allergies. They also have Vitamin C in them (100% RDA of Vitamin C)! Best of all, they are made right here in the US.

But how do they taste?  Awesome.  We were sent several different packages to try, and my kids loved every single kind they had (so did my husband but I’m not sure if he wants me to mention that).  🙂  I love that there is something out there for kids who have allergies.  Madison has a little boy in her class that is allergic to nuts, so I’ve learned how hard it is to find things that don’t have it in or not made at a facility that has them.

Surf Sweets are a snack I can stand behind.  They have several different varieties of snack (jelly beans, sour worms, gummy bears, fruity bears, gummy swirls, gummy worms, sour berry bears, etc), so there is something for everyone.  Go check them out — they are really good!

Litter Free Lunch

With the school year right upon us, it’s time to start thinking about school lunches. I know, for me, there is nothing worse than the feeling that your packing your kids lunches in brown paper bags every day that they are throwing away. Have no fear though — Litter Free Lunch is here. At Litter Free Lunch, you are able to get lunch bags, sandwich bags, snack bags, and even cloth napkins. You kids can literally go litter free at lunch.

Madison tried one of these bags out last year. She had snack time every day (and most of the time ate hot lunch so we didn’t need it for that). However, for snack time, I sent a snack and juice with her every day. I was able to use one of their bags instead of a brown paper bag, and it held up! Plus, I was able to show Madison (my 6 yr old) about reusing and recycling. I love that most of their products come in multiple colors, so there is something for everyone out there.

If you are trying to make your life more green, I recommend checking out Litter Free Lunch.  Just by NOT brown bagging it, you can help save the environment.
