Great Alexia Sides

Over the last month, we were able to try out a few of Alexia’s products. I have always been a fan of theirs. Their products are good for you and taste good! I have easily replaced some of the other brands I buy with these, and everybody in my house loves them.

house-cut-julienne-fries-largeIt takes only five simple whole ingredients—starting with farm-fresh potatoes cut with the skin on—to create our all-natural, full-of-flavor House Cut Fries. Alexia’s Julienne Fries with Sea Salt were an absolute hit in my house. I loved the quality. These aren’t your cheap crappy generic fries. They tasted great. (I didn’t even add any salt to them!). My kids liked how crispy they were.

onion-rings-multi-grain-largeAll-natural Multi Grain Onion Rings combine sweet Spanish onions with flavorful wheat breading to create a hearty, crunchy and pleasingly-unexpected complement to any meal. I’ll be honest – I was a little worried about these. I’m not an onion ring eater, but the rest of my house is. My husband also likes to whine with some of the more healthy foods I bring in. However, that being said, he loved these onion rings as much as the kids did. He said they just tasted great and even *gasp* better than some of the onion rings I’ve bought in the paste. Alexia, you scored a home run with this product!

sweet-potato-rolls-largeThis is Alexia’s artisan roll made with sweet potatoes and ultragrain—8 grams of whole grains in every roll. This is another home run of theirs. My husbands always complains when I slip in sweet potato stuff. However, he asked for seconds on these rolls. They are just good. I loved them too! (The kids love anything sweet potato, so these were a hit with them also).

Alexia products are a staple in my house. All-natural, gourmet-inspired, and absolutely delicious, what more could you ask for?

Kellogg’s Fiber Plus Cereals

Kellogg’s has introduced to new cereals that not only taste good but also good for you. Kellogg’s FiberPlus Antioxidants Cereals are Berry Yogurt Crunch and Cinnamon Oat Crunch. They both are a great source of fiber and rich in antioxidant vitamins C and E. Both cereals are really good. I would compare the Cinnamon Oat Crunch to a cross between Cheerios and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Even better — it has 3 times more fiber than Honey Nut Cheerios and more than 2 times the fiber of MultiGrain Cheerios! The Berry Yogurt Crunch cereal mixes whole-grain wheat and rice flakes with crunchy berry- and yogurt-flavored clusters. It’s a bunch of flavors exploding in your mouth!

Both cereals were a hit in my house. I love food that is both great tasting and good for my family!
