Slow Cooker Pumpkin Pudding

This would be awesome with some whipped cream or ice cream on the top!

Ingredients
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 15 ounce can pumpkin
  • 1 5 ounce can evaporated milk (2/3 cup)
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 1-layer-size yellow cake mix
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • Frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed (optional)
Instructions
  1. Lightly coat the inside of a 3-1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In the prepared cooker stir together pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, and 1 tablespoon of the pumpkin pie spice. Spread batter evenly in the bottom of the prepared cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl stir together cake mix and the remaining 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice. Sprinkle mixture evenly over pumpkin mixture in cooker. Drizzle melted butter over mixture in cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on high-heat setting for 2½ hours. Cool, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

Seriously! Literally, you mix the ingredients together, add to the Holstein Housewares Pound Cake Maker, wait about 8-10 minutes and done! I frosted and decorated after it cooled off. I’m including the pound cake recipe I used, because I never knew I could make chocolate pound cake! Also, let me just say, yum.

  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup water
  • 1¾ tsp salt
  • 1¾ tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Mix dry ingredients together.
  2. Slowly add wet ingredients.
  3. Add to Holstein Housewares Pound Cake Maker and bake for 8-10 minutes.

  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ⅔ cup dry bread crumbs
  • ⅓ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the egg, ketchup, barbeque sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion, parsley, garlic, and seasoned salt. Mix in ground beef, bread crumbs, and Cheddar cheese. Spread into the loaf pan. I also added an additional 2 tbsp of bbq sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
  3. Bake 55 minutes in the preheated oven till the internal temperature reaches at lease 160 degrees F.
