Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 pkg dry onion soup mix
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded Cheese
  • ½ package frozen potato nuggets (I like to call them Tater Tots)
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350. Brown ground beef and drain.
  2. Stir soup mix and flour into the beef in the skillet. Add water and continue cooking until the mixture thickens. Spoon the beef mixture into a 9x9 baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the beef mixture. Arrange the tater tots over the cheese. Bake until the tater tots are golden and the mixture is bubbly (about 30 - 40 minutes).

To prevent biscuits from being flattened when they are cut, flour the biscuit cutter before cutting each biscuit.

Pasta Primavera

This is one of those recipes that is just okay. I’ll be honest here. It also uses a ton of dishes.

 

 

Pasta Primavera

  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1½ cup milk
  • 2¼ cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • ¼ cup Italian style bread crumbs
Instructions
  1. Grease a large baking dish. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Cook pasta according to the package, drain and rinse. Toss with oil. Spoon into a large bowl.
  3. Place broccoli in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Cook over medium heat until tender (about 5 minutes). Drain and rinse with cool water. Add broccoli to the pasta in the bowl.
  4. In another pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour. Cook, stirring about 2 minutes. Whisk in milk, 2 cups Parmesan, mustard, and pepper. Fold in ham. Add sauce to the pasta and broccoli. Mix well and spoon into prepared dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and remaining ¼ cup Parmesan. Bake 25 minutes.
