Jo!e Shop has a wide variety of fun, colorful kitchen products, from Wine Aerators and silicon wine glass coasters to knives, chip clips and garlic choppers. Whether you’re entertaining guests or having a night in with the family, Jo!e Shop will make your dining experience, from cooking to eating, fun and relaxing. The products are affordable, safe and easy to use.  I recently was able to review a few of their really fun items.

Am I the only one who loves bacon but hates the mess? That is where this Microwave Bacon Tray & Splatter Lid comes in! This tray allows you to cook bacon quickly and with little mess. The grooved base drains fat, without sacrificing taste, for a healthier cooking experience. It is super easy to use and super cute too! (Hint: the tray will get hot, so I recommend using hot mits to get it out of the microwave!).

Okay, this Potato Brush is beyond cute. I like just putting this out, because it is just so darn cute! Who wouldn’t want this cute little potato sitting on your sink? I love that this potato brush is small and that it comfortably fits your hand for easy use. The abrasive yet gentle nylon bristles ensure a thorough cleaning. Functional and cute!

Just hook this cute little devil onto the dish’s edge, or the oven rack itself, and pull. If your culinary creation needs a little more time, use the Devil Oven Pull to push it back into place. I love this! It makes checking on the items in your oven so easy. It is sturdy and does its job. It’s also a talking point, because everybody wants to know why you have a devil in your kitchen!

The jo!eShop has a ton of really great products like these. I recommend checking them out, and you won’t be disappointed!

Smarty Had A Party Review and Giveaway!

This giveaway is now over. The winner is Emma Peel. Congrats!

Sponsored by Tomoson.comI like to make things easy for myself.  Every other year we do Christmas Eve at my house, and I hate all the dishes that it brings (especially when we are talking 11 adults and 4 kids).  Granted, we have a dishwasher, but it still stinks.  After a dinner with everybody, we end up having to run at least 2 loads in the dishwasher to get everything clean.

That is where Smarty Had A Party comes in.  First of all, who doesn’t love that name?  Smarty Had A Party is the premier online retailer of elegant disposable dinnerware, offering an attractive alternative for classy parties, weddings, holidays and elegant events, at a substantial cost-savings over rentals. Although these dishes are sturdy and elegant enough to be used for an important event, they can be conveniently disposed of, and all at reasonable price. They even offer free ground shipping on all orders over $275.00!

We recently tried these out.  At first look, they look real.  It isn’t until you sit down and use them that you realize that it is plastic.  They definitely dress up your dinner, and this is a product I’ll be using again for family holidays.  Everybody was impressed with them, and it made cleanup a breeze.

Since we liked these so much, I’ve arranged for one lucky reader to get their own Smarty Had A Party prize pack!  They prize pack consists of:

10.25″ Smarty Ivory and Chocolate Dinner Plates

Reflections Grand Heavy Knives
Reflections Spoons

Tip Of The Day

To avoid dull knives, dry them immediately after use.  Never leave them in your kitchen sink and never put them in the dishwasher.
