Chef Boyardee #Giveaway!

You know that I am all about quick and easy.  I love recipes that have the ingredients I have around the house, and I’m not going to have to buy something I am only ever going to use once.  That is why I was excited to find out that you can take some of your Chef Boyardee products you have in your house and make full dinners for everyone out of them!  How cool is that?  Here are a few to try:

·  For a new take on Mexican Night, try Chef Boyardee Taco-roni! Let the kids get involved by breaking the tortilla chips for the dish or adding the ingredients to the saucepan.

·   Try something really different and delicious with Chef Boyardee Ravioli Lasagna. And if you’re trying to please a picky eater, you can substitute the spinach with another vegetable the family enjoys.

·  Take an American classic to a new level of deliciousness and originality with Chef Boyardee Cheeseburger-roni! For an extra twist, serve the beefaroni mixture on hamburger buns, topped with a slice of American cheese, for “cheeseburger joes.”

Since I think this is awesome, I have arranged for 3 of my readers to get their own Chef Boyardee Prize Pack(including some Chef Boyardee product, a cool Chef Boyardee lunchbag and a few other goodies)! Here’s what you need to do:

Chef Boyardee Review and Giveaway

This giveaway is now over. The winner is shelly aka allysmama. Congrats!

Did you know that Chef Boyardee has new whole grain products and a new website they have just launched called Club Mum?  I didn’t either till recently.

Lead by a panel of four mom bloggers and launched by Chef Boyardee, Club Mum is a new online community for moms to share experiences, ideas and tips around how to get the “good stuff” in their kids. The website will include editorial and video content on a broad range of topics, such as getting more vegetables into kids’ diets, keeping kids active during winter weather, packing nutritious lunches and encouraging philanthropy among the whole family.

Their new whole grain product launch goes hand in hand with this.    Now, I already loved that a can of Chef Boyardee counts as a serving of vegetables.  However, the whole grain aspect just makes it all the better.  I recently tried the Whole Grain Lasagna.  I’ll be honest — I couldn’t tell the difference between the whole grain and the regular lasagna.  They tasted exactly the same!  If you like Chef Boyardee products, you will love their new whole grain products.

Since my family and I enjoyed these so much, I’ve arranged for one lucky reader to win a Chef Boyardee Prize Pack.  In it is a lunch box and 3 of the Chef Boyardee products!  Here’s what you need to do:

Head over to the Chef Boyardee site and tell me which product you’d like to try!

George Foreman Evolve Grill

I didn’t want to like this grill. I have the jumbo sized George Foreman grill that was working for my family quite well. However, I think I’m in love. :) Seriously, the new George Foreman Evolve Grill ranks up there with sliced bread.  Why?  Well, first you can get all of these plates for it:

  • Cross-hatch grill plates (2) – Perfect for grilling chicken breasts, fresh fish and more.
  • Mini-Burger plate – Serve up low-fat turkey sliders in minutes.
  • Griddle plate – Cook up breakfast, lunch or dinner without adding extra oil or butter for healthier meals.
  • Cupcake/muffin plate – Whipping up six muffins or cupcakes is a snap with this easy-to-use plate.
  • Panini plates (2) – No need to butter bread when making panini in the George Foreman Evolve™ Grill.
  • Deep-dish baking plate – From lasagna to veggie-packed casseroles, the deep-dish bake pan provides another versatile usage for the George Foreman Evolve™ Grill.
  • Omelet plates (2) – Flipping omelets used to require lots of butter or oil to prevent sticking, however, with the George Tough™ nonstick coating, making omelets is simpler and healthier than ever.
  • Waffle plate –The waffle plates makes preparing golden, delicious waffles on the grill easy and convenient.
  • The plates I got to try out were the deep dish, standard, and cross hatch.  We’ve made steaks in there and they were yummy.  However, we used the deep dish plate and made brownies.  Yes, you heard me correctly:  I made brownies in a George Foreman Grill!  That is a statement that I am finding that I have to repeat over and over, because no one believes me!  Best of all, they aren’t any different than the ones I would have thrown in my oven!  Some of the features on this new grill include:

    • George Tough™ nonstick coating for oil-free cooking
    • Patented slope for fat to drip away
    • Drip tray that is dishwasher safe for collecting grease drippings
    • 84 square-inch cooking surface
    • Precise Digital Time and Temperature Control
    • Removable dishwasher-safe plates

These removable plates are awesome too.  You can either wash them by hand or throw them in the dishwasher!  We tried both, and they were pretty simple to clean.

I really like this grill.  All the pitfalls of the older versions have been corrected with this one.  I love the digital timer and temperature control.  The removable plates were also a pretty sweet deal!  I’d highly recommend the George Foreman Evolve Grill.
