Pizza Swirls

This was the recipe I was given for this. However, the next time I make this, I would at least double the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and pasta sauce.

  • 1 loaf (1 lb) frozen bread dough, thawed
  • ¼ cup prepared pasta sauce
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Generously coat a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.
  3. Roll out dough to a 10 inch square on a floured surface. Spread pasta sauce over dough. Reserve 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese for later. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the sauce. Top with pepperoni.
  4. Roll dough jelly style to enclose filling.
  5. Cut roll crosswise into 10 slices.
  6. Place slices cut slide down on the baking sheet. Brush tops with oil. Sprinkle with Parmesan and reserved mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake until golden brown (about 15 minutes). Serve immediately.


Cheesy Italian Chicken Bake

Cheesy Italian Chicken Bake

  • 2 cups tomato paste
  • 1 pkg chicken breast tenders (we cubed ours to make it easier for the kids)
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz uncooked spaghetti
  1. Heat over to 350 degrees.
  2. Into a glass baking pan, spread 1 cup of tomato paste. Add in chicken and spoon remaining pasta sauce over the chicken. Sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Bake uncovered for 30 - 35 minutes or until mixture is bubbly and chicken is pink in the center. While that is cooking, make spaghetti like you normally do.
  4. Serve chicken and sauce over the spaghetti.
