Sweets on a Stick

If you have kids, Sweets on a Stick: More than 150 Kid-Friendly Recipes for Cakes, Candies, and Pies on the Go! is one of those cookbooks you have to own. Like the title states, this is the only cookbook out there that tells you how to make treats that are convenient, eye catching, and easy to make. There is a section for cakes, for cookies, for brownies, for pies, and even for candies! Many of the recipes are easy enough that the kids can help make and decorate everything. There are a ton of great photos and each recipe has its own step by step instructions to make. There are just so many recipes I want to try for Madison’s schools next bake sale! Do you go with the Peanut Butter Bliss Bites or the Pirate Pie Pops or the Dressed Up Oreo Cookies or the Big Button Cookies. There is just so much to pick from!!

Sweets on a Stick is guaranteed fun for the whole family!

Crazy for Cake Pops

Ever want to make cake pops? I know I wanted to learn how to, and Crazy for Cake Pops is the book to teach you how!  Not only does this book show you how to make the cake pops, but they also teach you how to decorate them!  I love how the author used her own trial and errors methods to come up with the best way to make these!  She also gives you several cake recipes, so you can get a flavor that you like!

There are 50 cake on a stick designs in this book.  Yes, 50!  There are also 70 photos accompanying these designs, so you know exactly how each should look (which for me is exactly what I need).  There is literally a cake pop for every occasion:

  • Birthday Party Clown Pops
  • Halloween Jack-O-Lanterns
  • Holiday Bauble Balls
  • Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Pops
  • Game Night Poker Chips and Dice
You name it, there is a pop you can make for it.  Molly Bakes shows you every step to make awesome cake pops and tells you in a way everyone can understand.
If you want to make cake pops that everybody wants to know how you did that, you need to get your hands on Crazy for Cake Pops!
