The Real McCoy’s Really Good Rice Puffs : Baked Jalapeno Cheddar were absolutely ridiculously good. You will be coming back for more! These had that loaded pop of cheesiness followed with a dose of bang, or as my husband said zesty kick without having to have a fire extinguisher on hand for your mouth. This is a great snack that is gluten free, baked, has no trans fat, made with organic brown rice, and is non-gmo. Just as the label states, these are really good rice puffs!

Real McCoy’s Rice Chips: Sea Salt were delicious as well. They had a very flaky crunch with a salty nutty flavor. Addicting, once you start eating them, it was hard to stop. They are great tasting with salsa, hummus, and chili cheese dip. This is a great snack that is gluten free, has no trans fat, non-gmo and is made of organic brown rice kernels.

I don’t think I know anyone that doesn’t like yogurt. By itself, yogurt can be a healthy snack, the start to a good morning as breakfast, or as the beginning of an awesome low fat smoothie. There are different, I mean tons of different, varieties out there and now to add to it all there is an even healthier option: Greek yogurt! Who knew yogurt could be healthier, right??   Yoplait is my favorite brand of yogurt and they have added Greek yogurt to their amazing selection of yogurt. It comes in a lot of different flavors and fruits to satisfy every taste bud.   One of my favorite parts of this delicious yogurt is that it is low in calories! These cute little cups have only 100 calories per serving! Greek yogurt, for those of you who have yet to try this type of yogurt, is a thicker consistency but really fills you up! My favorite is the Yoplait Greek 100 in strawberry. I have it as a snack after a workout, or as my breakfast with some granola on top, but I have also used it in baking! Not only is this yogurt delicious and nutritious, it is also
versatile! With only 100 calories, 0g of fat, and 10g of protein per serving, who wouldn’t love Yoplait Greek yogurt?!?

Whipped Cream Cheese Gets a Twist

Weight Watchers Cheese has recently added two delicious new varieties to its lineup of whipped cream cheeses: Chocolate and Chocolate Raspberry. The new whipped cream cheese flavors are perfect for putting to use in inventive yet simple recipes that push whipped cream cheese’s repertoire beyond the typical bagel. Now, Weight Watchers has made up a few recipes but I tried one of my own for this product.

I found my new favorite frosting. Ok, so maybe it’s not really frosting so much as it is a whipped chocolate cream cheese spread, however it makes the most amazing frosting!! Weight Watchers has come up with new reduced fat Whipped Chocolate and Whipped Chocolate Raspberry cream cheese spreads that are out of this world. Not only do they have 33% less fat than whipped cream cheese spreads, they are also only 60 calories per serving and have 2g of fiber per serving. When I first opened these spreads, I wasn’t quite sure what I would do with them, but after taste testing with a spoon I decided that if nothing else I would just eat it with a spoon!! That’s how delicious these cream cheese spreads are to eat! Alright, maybe that wasn’t the best decision on how to eat it, so I opted to try it as a frosting. I found a recipe for chocolate chip cookie cupcakes (they are amazing) that uses a cream cheese frosting. It is a match made in heaven!! I no longer need to make my own cream cheese frosting for anything-Weight Watchers Whipped Chocolate cream cheese spread is my new favorite. I can’t wait to try it on a chocolate chip bagel for breakfast or dip pretzels in it for a low fat snack!
