What isn’t included in this recipe is potatoes or noodles. The recipe given to me didn’t have them. However, this stew is definitely missing something! I’d love to hear suggestions, because even us with cooking blogs need all the help we can get!
Slow Cooker Stew

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef stew meat
- 1 large onion cut into 8ths
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ bag of baby carrots
- 1 bag frozen cut green beans
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, mix all ingredients except for the green beans. Cover and cook on High for 6 – 7 hours (stir occasionally). Add the green beans during the last hour of cooking. before serving remove and discard the bay leaf.
