What to do if you have a grease fire
Written by Lisa on March 8, 2008 – 11:24 am -I actually got this video in an email. This is a topic that I really never thought about all that much. I’ve never had a grease fire, but I know the effects can be devastating. This video will take a little over 30 seconds of your time and could save you and your house if you ever had a grease fire.
The water, being heavier than oil, sinks to the bottom where it instantly becomes superheated. The explosive force of the steam blows the burning oil up and out. Also, do not throw sugar or flour on a grease fire. One cup creates the explosive force of two sticks of dynamite. This is a powerful message—-watch the video and don’t forget what you see. Tell your whole family about this video. Or better yet, send this to them.
