Three Cheese Baked Ziti

This is one of those recipes that you can really customize to your own tastes and to your own preferences. Since I have little ones, we do keep dishes like this on the plain side. However, I do know that when I make this again, I think I will be adding some meat (either ground beef or Italian Sausage) to it.

Three Cheese Baked Ziti

Ingredients
  • 1 container of ricotta cheese (15 oz)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 box of ziti pasta(16 oz)
  • 1 jar (28 oz) spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat your over to 350 degrees. Make the ziti pasta as directed on the box.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, eggs, and Parmesan cheese together and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine the pasta and the spaghetti sauce.
  4. In a 13x9 baking pan, spoon in ½ of the pasta mixture. Then top with the ricotta cheese mixture. Add the remaining pasta mixture. Ton top, sprinkle the 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through and the cheese is melted.
