Refresh Wine Giveaway! #WineOverIce

I’m slowly starting reviewing wine. That’s why I was glad to try Refresh Wine. I was able to bring it to a birthday party, so I got a few people’s thoughts about this wine. The first thing I have to tell you is that Refresh Wine got 2 thumbs up from everybody.

Refresh by Turning Leaf comes in four light, refreshing wine options: Crisp White, Red Moscato, Moscato and Pink Moscato. All are $8. (Love how affordable these are!) These slightly fizzy wines are best served chilled, over ice, with a slice of orange or lime. They are also excellent with birthday cake. Refresh is a great option if you’re looking for something fizzier than still wine, less filling than beer or lighter than a cocktail.

Since this is not like your typical wine, we had the grandma’s trying this. My SIL’s mom may have gotten a buzz, and she never drinks wine at parties! That’s how much these Refresh Wines were a hit! I too don’t drink a lot of wine, and I love these too! I may have had 3 glasses that night myself!

I also am “Refreshing It Forward” to a reader and friend. Her name is Samantha, and she blogs over at The Peanuts Gang. She just moved into a new house and what a great housewarming gift. Plus, who can’t use a bottle of wine while moving with a 4 year old and a 2 year old (and let’s not even talk about the fact that she also works and blogs!). She’s also just a great friend who deserves it.

You all are my friend too! That is why I have arranged for one lucky reader to win a “Wine Over Ice” kit valued at $50. The gift pack will include a gift card that the winner can use to purchase Refresh. The gift pack will also include additional items to help you enjoy Refresh anytime. Here’s what you need to do:

Ever stand in front of the “Wall of Wine” in the store and wonder what you should get? Yes, we’ve all been there. Instead of looking dazed and confused, use the WineFinder app!

The Thumbs Up WineFinder app quickly matches you with the best wines in the store.

And seriously, it is that easy.  you just take a pic of what you are seeing and the app will tell you which wine to buy!  It literally takes all the confusion out of the process!  How cool is that?

It lets you know that you got an extraordinary value.  You get a quick snapshot of the wine’s profile and tells you what the wine is really worth before you buy it.  They also include easy to read wine reviews and you can text, email, facebook, and tweet all about your favorites!

Flipflop Wines: 2010 California Moscato

This year, one of Flipflop wines top medal winning wines was the 2010 California Moscato. It won 4 “Best Buy” ratings from the Wine Enthusiast and won medals across 16 major wine competitions. It earned double gold at the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition too. At $7 a bottle, it was competing against wines that would be priced up to $50 a bottle!

We were able to try this white wine and it was really good! It was semi-sweet and crisp. It was also a big hit with my other family members that came over to try this great wine with me.

I’d highly recommend the Flipflop Wines: 2010 California Moscato for at home drinking, or it is great for a party!
