Chili Mac n Cheese

This easy to make recipe is better than Hamburger Helper.  However, it is only okay.  I am still trying to figure out what needs to be changed to make it excellent.  If you have any ideas, let me know!

 

 

Chili Mac n Cheese

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 1/3 uncooked rotini pasta
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 1/4 cup water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded taco flavored cheese
Instructions
  1. Brown ground beef and drain. Stir in uncooked pasta, chili powder, water, and tomatoes. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for around 10 – 12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  2. Remove from heat and let stand uncovered for 5 minutes. Stir in cheese until melted and sprinkle with additional chili powder.
