Ground Beef Pie

This easy to make recipe can really be tailored to whatever you like. My good DSLR camera had a dead battery, so I ended up taking these with my Sony Cybershot.

 

 

Ground Beef Pie

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs beaton
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup biscuit baking mix
  • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
Instructions
  1. Brown ground beef and garlic and drain. Mix in diced tomatoes, basil, and oregano. Press into a 9″ pie pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and cheese.
  2. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, and biscuit mix just until combined. Pour over cheese.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees F for 35 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
