- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 slices of uncooked bacon (or use 3 tbsp of Tastefully Simple Bacon Bacon)
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1/2 Italian sausage
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 cups uncooked mostaccioli pasta
- Heat the oil in a skillet and add the bacon, onion, and Italian sausage. Cook 4 – 7 minutes or until the sausage is no longer pink.
- Stir in tomatoes, broth, basil, salt, pepper, and uncooked pasta. Reduce heat to medium low and cover. Cook 20 – 25 minutes stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.
