Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar pasta sauce
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp parsley
- Preheat over to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, 1/3 cup pasta sauce, egg, and bread crumbs. Shape into a 12×8 inch rectangle.
- Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of cheese and parsley down the center leaving a 3/4 in border. Roll jelly roll style. Press the ends together to seal.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Pour the remaining pasta sauce over the meat loaf and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 of cheese. Bake an additional 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
