TIP #3 for T-fal’s Healthy Summer Challenge – Bite Size

I know you are all wondering what “bite size” means. Something that I have learned over the years is that if you want something, you have to eat it. However, what it comes down to is portion control. If you are dying for a chicken nugget, have one. The key word here though is one. I have found in my own weight loss that I am still able to lose weight and occasionally eat one of my son’s chicken nuggets. When we were camping, I was dying for a smore. Instead of having a whole one, I took one bite of my sons. I also think I’ve been able to stick to my weight loss plan, because I am eating the things that I want when I want them.  I cannot see anyone being able to stick to a lifestyle change that doesn’t allow you to even taste your favorite foods. Instead of denying yourself something, give yourself a taste!

Does this really work?  For me, it has.  I’m down over 50 lbs since January, and I still go out to eat and have chocolate!
